Recently an Indian Think Tank ICRIER Prosus Centre for Internet and Digital Economy presented a report - State of India's Digital Economy.

The report presents rankings of country's digital infra by their CHIPS framework. Also, the methodology has divided the framework into two perspectives- CHIPS Economy, and CHIPS users presenting a vivid picture from all angles.

Few important terms to better understanding :

1. CHIPS framework - Connect, Harness, Innovate, Protect and Sustain

2. CHIPS (Economy) - The parameters from the perspective of the entire economy, on an aggregate level

3. CHIPS (User) - This is measured at individual level, giving more in depth insight and ground level implementation.
